THE GOLD STANDARD: TAILS OS

The Amnesic Incognito Live System (Tails) is the only operating system you should use for darknet markets. It runs from a USB stick and leaves zero trace on your computer's hard drive. Even if your device is seized, there is no evidence of activity.

Why Windows is dangerous: Windows takes screenshots, logs keystrokes for "telemetry", and caches thumbnails of images you view. It is impossible to secure Windows for high-threat models.

TAILS INSTALLATION PROTOCOL
1. GET 2 USB STICKS (8GB+).
2. DOWNLOAD TAILS .IMG FROM OFFICIAL SITE.
3. VERIFY PGP SIGNATURE OF THE DOWNLOAD (CRITICAL).
4. FLASH USB #1 USING BALENA ETCHER.
5. BOOT USB #1 -> INSTALL TO USB #2 (ENCRYPTED PERSISTENCE).
6. BOOT USB #2. YOU ARE NOW GHOST.

METADATA & IDENTITY ISOLATION

OpSec fails when you link your real life to your darknet persona.

DO (SAFE)

  • Use a dedicated laptop/USB.
  • Generate new PGP keys for each identity.
  • Use Monero (XMR) exclusively.
  • Scrub EXIF data from photos (MAT2 tool).

DON'T (LEAK)

  • Reuse usernames (Reddit, Telegram).
  • Login to Gmail/Facebook on Tor.
  • Use "Burner Phones" (They track location).
  • Discuss orders on Clearweb (Discord/Reddit).

PHYSICAL DROP SECURITY

The most vulnerable moment is when the package arrives. This is called the "Last Mile".

  • Real Name Policy: Always use your real name or the name of a resident. Fake names signal "Fraud" to the postman.
  • Sterile Drop: Do not order to a house where you have other illegal items. If a CD (Controlled Delivery) happens, your house should be "clean".
  • CD Awareness: If the courier asks for a signature when none was required, or looks different than usual — DENY THE PACKAGE. "I didn't order this."
